Super Visa for Visitors Coming to Canada

Grandparents and parents are able to travel to Canada permanently, thanks to the Super Visa Program. Since they will be given a multi-entry visitor visa with an expiration date of up to 10 years, successful candidates will no longer need to renew their visitor visa every six months. A parent and grandparent super visa can be obtained by applying online or on paper. Additionally, there are prerequisites that you must fulfill in order to apply.

Who Can Apply?

People residing in Canada who want their grandparents or parents to live with them can apply for Super Visa. Parents and grandparents who qualify may travel to Canada and visit their family for up to two years without having to renew their status, thanks to the parent & grandparent super visa. The main distinction is that a person with a Super Visa can stay in Canada for up to two years on each entrance, as opposed to just having a six-month status term with a 10-year multiple entry visa.

Who Qualifies for a Super Visa?

Applicants must be the parents/grandparents of permanent residents of Canada in order to qualify for the Super Visa. The Super Visa is not available to people who are dependent on their grandparents or parents. They may nonetheless apply for a standard Visitor Visa. The applicants for Super Visas must also be approved for admission to Canada and fulfill certain requirements.
Before determining whether a candidate is entitled, visa officers take into account a number of variables. Officers must have confidence that the applicant is a real foreign tourist who will leave Canada voluntarily at the conclusion of their stay. The following are a few considerations the officer may take into account.
