Foreign Skilled Worker Permit:

Between January and December 31, 2021, approximately 113,900 work permits were issued under the TFWP and 485,400 under the IMP(International Mobility Program) for a total of 599,300.
To Work in Canada on a temporary basis a foreign skilled worker must have a temporary offer of employment from a Canadian employer and be granted a temporary Foreign Worker permit by Human resources and Skill Development Canada. If you are applying for a PR card you Can also apply through an Open Work Permit. And for an American or Mexican they can fast track the working visa process via the NAFTA agreement.

Requirements:

• • Convince an immigration officer that you will leave Canada as soon as the work permit expires.
• • Prove that you have sufficient funds to sustain yourself and your family members during your stay in Canada.
• • Must not have a criminal record (police Clearance Certificate) and abide by the law at all times.
• • Must not be a threat to Canada’s security.
• • Must be absolutely fit and healthy and even undergo medical tests if required.
• • Should not plan of working for an employer who failed to comply with conditions and are deemed “ineligible”.
• • Do not plan on working for an employer who offers striptease, erotic dance, escort service or erotic massages.
• • Provide the immigration officer with all the necessary documents required to enter Canada.

• 2. Employer extends Temporary Job offer
• 3. Foreign Skilled Worker applies for a work Permit
• 4. Get issued a Canadian Temporary Work Permit

What is Canadian Experience class:

It is an immigration program aimed to help temporary foreign workers and foreign students to apply their Canadian work experience and education towards their Canadian PR application. The Canadian Experience class supports the transition from a temporary to permanent status considering the time the international student or Skilled worker spent in Canada.
Requirements of Canadian Experience Class:
• Must be at par with the required language proficiency for your job for each language ability in writing, reading, listening and speaking
• Should have at least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada within the last 3 years before you apply. The work experience must be full-time or equal amounts in part-time.
